David A. Levin President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Mr. Levin was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company in April 2000. Mr. Levin has spent the past 30 years in the apparel industry with extensive experience with outlet stores. He was Executive Vice President of eOutlet.com and prior to that was President of both Coleman Company's outlet divisions, Camp Coleman and Revlon, Inc.'s Prestige Fragrance & Cosmetics. In addition, Mr. Levin was President of Parade of Shoes, a division of J. Baker, Inc. Mr. Levin is a member of the Company's Board of Directors. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology and History. In May 2012, Mr. Levin joined the board of directors of Christopher & Banks Corporation as a director.
Mr. Levin brings to the Board valuable experience in merchandising and marketing initiatives.Since joining the Company, Mr. Levin has been instrumental in transforming the Company from a company which exclusively operated Levi Strauss & Co. branded apparel to the largest specialty retailer of big & tall men’s apparel.
Dennis R. Hernreich Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hernreich joined the Company in September 2000 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Since, he joined the Company, he has implemented a plan to dramatically reduce costs and make the Company a low cost operator. Prior to joining Designs, Mr. Hernreich was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pennsylvania Fashions, Inc., a 275 store retail outlet chain operating under the name Rue 21. Additionally, Mr. Hernreich was also Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Loehmann's Inc., one of the largest off-price woman's apparel companies. Dennis is a CPA and a graduate from the University of Illinois where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
Frank C. Chane Senior Vice President of Distribution and Logistics
Frank joined our Company in June 2008 and is our Senior Vice President of Distribution & Logistics. Prior to that, Frank worked for RedcatsUSA as Vice President Operations & Facilities responsible for two distribution centers.
Angela Chew Senior Vice President of Global Sourcing and Product Development
Angela Chew has been our Senior Vice President of Gobal Sourcing and Product Development since March 2013. Prior to that she was our Vice President of Global Sourcing from May 2010 to March 2013. Ms. Chew joined the Company as Director of Global Sourcing in February 2009 and was promoted to Senior Director of Global Sourcing in October 2009. Prior to joining our Company, from October 2007 to December 2008 Ms. Chew was the Senior Product Merchant for Redcats USA. From 2007 to 2009, Ms. Chew was an Independent Retail Consultant and Analyst with the Gerson Lehrman Group and the Executive Vice President of Global Sourcing for Rocawear from August 2006 to December 2006.
Kenneth M. Ederle Senior Vice President & Chief Merchandising Officer
Mr. Ederle was appointed Senior Vice Presdient & Chief Merchandising Officer in April 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Ederle served as the Company's Senior Vice President - General Merchandising Manager - DXL since April 2011. From August 2008 through April 2011, Mr. Ederle was the Vice President GMM Rochester Clothing. Mr. Ederle started his career in the finance industry but has spent the last 15 years in the retail industry. His diverse retail background includes stores, planning and merchandising at several retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue, Abercrombie and Fitch and Limited Brands. He graduated from the Indiana University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Business.
Jack R. McKinney Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Jack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and an MBA degree with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
He began his career as a Software Consultant in various industries. Jack's retail career started with Filene's Department Stores progressing from Project Manager to Director of Merchandising Systems. He subsequently joined J. Baker in 1990 as Manager of Applications & Programming and became Senior Vice President, Director of MIS. In 1995 Jack accepted the position of Vice President, MIS with Auto Palace. He returned to J. Baker in 1997 as Senior Vice President, Director of MIS and was named Chief Information Officer of the Company in June 2002.
Robert S. Molloy Senior Vice President - General Counsel
Bob brings over 20 years of distinguished, results-driven legal experience to this new role at Casual Male. Most recently, Bob served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at Staples, Inc. where he provided expert legal advice to all areas of retail operations, marketing, sales, and distribution, as well as managed a team overseeing litigation, labor and employment law, IS/IT, and intellectual property. Prior to his career at Staples, Bob served as a trial attorney for the distinguished law firms of Edwards & Angell, LLP and Cooley, Manion, Moore & Jones, LLP. Bob holds a J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and completed an accelerated MBA program at Boston University.
Brian S. Reaves Senior Vice President of Store Sales and Operations
Brian joined the Company in May 2010 as our Senior Vice President of Store Sales and Operations. Prior to joining the Company, Brian was the Vice President - Outreach and Group Sales for David's Bridal. Before that Brian was the Senior Vice President of Sales for The Bridal Group. Brian holds a BA from the University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration.
Peter E. Schmitz Senior Vice President - Real Estate and Store Development
Prior to joining the Company, Peter was the Vice President of Real Estate for Brooks/Eckerd Pharmacy Chain. During his 12 years at Brooks, Peter's management experience spanned the areas of site selection, property management, lease administration, capital expenditure budgeting, market research and heavy involvement in construction. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
Vickie S. Smith Senior Vice President - Merchandise Planning & Allocation
Vickie brings over 20 years of merchandise planning and allocation experience to the Company. She began her early career as a Buyer and worked her way to senior management ranks. While at Today's Man, Vickie transitioned from VP, Divisional Merchandise Manager to VP, Merchandise Planning & Allocation. She then moved on to VP, Merchandising, Planning & Allocation at Kidspot. After Kidspot, she joined JCPenney where she held several positions including Vice President, Corporate Planning & Allocation. Most recently, Vickie worked at Urban Brands Incorporated as SVP, Planning, Allocation & Marketing where among her accomplishments, she implemented a new planning and allocation organization and systems and also streamlined the planning function across all merchandise divisions. Vickie graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Merchandising.
Walter E. Sprague Senior Vice President of Human Resources
Walter began his retail career with Anderson - Little Company, a manufacturer/retailer of men's and women's tailored clothing, holding various management positions including store manager, district manager and national leasing manager. In 1987, he was promoted to Vice President - Human Resources at Richman Brothers Company, the parent company of Anderson Little. In 1993 he was promoted to Assistant Vice President Senior Director Human Resources of Woolworth Corporation, the predecessor company to Foot Locker Inc. where he was employed until 2002 when he joined Marc-Allen Associates, a nationwide executive search firm. Walter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Husson College in Bangor, Maine.
Peter H. Stratton, Jr. Senior Vice President of Finance, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer
Peter H. Stratton, Jr., was appointed Senior Vice President of Finance, Corporate Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer effective August 28, 2009. Peter joined the Company in June 2009 as Vice President of Finance. From May 2007 to June 2009, he served as Senior Director of Corporate Accounting at BearingPoint, Inc. Prior to May 2007, Mr. Stratton held various finance and accounting leadership positions at Legal Sea Foods, Inc., Shaw's Supermarkets, Inc., and Cintas Corporation. Peter holds a B.S. in Accounting from Babson College and an M.B.A. in Finance from Miami University.
John R. Wagner Vice President, Merchandise Manager for Tailored Clothing and Furnishings
John R. Wagner has been our Vice President, Merchandise Manager for Tailored Clothing and Furnishings since November 2010. In April 2011, Mr. Wagner assumed the oversight responsibilities for Accessories for Destination XL. Prior to joining our company, Mr. Wagner was President of Innovative Sourcing Group, a New York based product development and sourcing firm specializing in men's apparel. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Wagner held the positions of Vice President of Manufacturing and Product Development and Vice President of Tailored Clothing for S&K Famous Brands a men's specialty retail chain based in Richmond Virginia.
Derrick Walker Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Derrick joined our Company in May 2012 as our Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining our Company, Derrick was the Vice President of Marketing for Lenscrafters. Before that, Derrick was the Vice President of Marketing for Finish Line. Derrick earned dual Masters Degrees in Management and Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned his BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Central State University.
